Floor Action:

Budget- On March 27, the Senate approved its version of the FY2016 budget (S. Con. Res. 11) by a vote of 52-46.

On March 25, the House approved, 228-199, the FY2016 Budget Resolution (H. Con. Res. 27).

Health- On March 26, the House passed, 392-37, the Medicare and CHIP Reauthorization Act (H.R. 2).

Mark-Ups:

Employment/Child Protection- On March 25, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee passed, by voice vote, the Eliminating Pornography from Agencies Act (H.R. 901).

Hearings:

Health- On March 25, the Senate Aging Committee held a hearing, “The Fight Against Alzheimer’s Disease: Are We on Track to a Treatment by 2025?”

Child Protection- On March 25, the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations held a hearing, “The Goldman Act to Return Abducted American Children: Reviewing Obama Administration Implementation.”
