Employment- On June 12, the House approved, by voice vote, H.R. 338, a bill to promote a 21st century energy and manufacturing workforce.
Appropriations- On June 15, the House Appropriations Committee approved, by voice vote, the FY2018 Military Construction, Veterans’ Affairs, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered). The Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans’ Affairs, and Related Agencies approved the measure on June 12.
International- On June 14, the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations approved, by voice vote, H.R. 1415, the End Neglected Tropical Diseases Act.
International- On June 15, the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations held a hearing, “Africa’s Current and Potential Famines.”
