On December 19, the House approved, 418-1, S. 1536, the Combatting Human Trafficking in Commercial Vehicles Act. The House passed S. 1532, the No Human Trafficking on Our Roads Act by a vote of 393-0 on December 21. Final passage in the House sends the bills to the president for his signature.
The Senate approved the bills in September (see The Source, 9/15/17); the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee approved earlier versions of the measures (H.R. 3814 and H.R. 3813) on November 29 (see The Source, 11/12/27).
