Floor Action:

Family Support- On Tuesday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 2091, the Child Support Assistance Act.

Defense- This week, the Senate is likely to consider the conference report for the FY2016 National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 1735).

Mark-Ups:

Small Business- On Wednesday, the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee will mark up S. 2126, the Women’s Business Ownership Act.

Budget- On Friday, the House Budget Committee will mark up the FY2016 budget reconciliation package.

Hearings:

Education/Child Care- On Wednesday, the House Education and the Workforce Committee will hold a hearing, “Strengthening Head Start for Current and Future Generations.”

International- On Wednesday, the House Foreign Affairs Committee will hold a hearing, “Reforming Food Aid: Desperate Need to Do Better.”

Also on Wednesday, the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations will hold a hearing, “Food Security and Nutrition Programs in Africa.”

Abortion- the House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing, “Planned Parenthood Exposed: Examining Abortion Procedures and Medical Ethics at the Nation’s Largest Abortion Provider.”
