Floor Action:

Human Trafficking- On Wednesday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 2664, the Enhancing Detection of Human Trafficking Act, H.R. 2480, the Empowering Law Enforcement to Fight Sex Trafficking Demand Act, and H.R. 2200, the Frederick Douglass Trafficking Victims Prevention and Protection Reauthorization Act of 2017.

Military- On Wednesday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 2810, the National Defense Authorization Act for FY2018.

Mark-Ups:

Appropriations- On Tuesday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development (HUD), and Related Agencies will mark up the FY2018 Transportation, HUD, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).

On Wednesday, the House Appropriations Committee will mark up the FY2018 Agriculture, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).

Military- On Wednesday, the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies will mark up the FY2018 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).

On Thursday, the Senate Appropriations Committee will mark up the FY2018 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered). 

Hearings:

Human Trafficking- On Thursday, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will hold a hearing, “Review of the 2017 Trafficking in Persons Report.”

International- On Wednesday, the House Foreign Affairs Committee will hold a hearing, “Beyond Microfinance: Empowering Women in the Developing World.”
