Congressional Schedule: April 3-7, 2017

Hearings:

Employment- On Wednesday, the House Education and the Workforce Subcommittee on Workforce Protections will hold a hearing on H.R. 1180, the Working Families Flexibility Act.

International- On Thursday, the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations will hold a hearing, “Enforcement is Not Optional: The Goldman Act to Return Abducted American Children.”

Military- On Wednesday, the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies will hold a hearing, “Protecting Our Midshipmen: Preventing Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.”

Markups:

Child Protection- On Tuesday, the House Education and the Workforce Committee will mark up several bills, including H.R. 1808, the Improving Support for Missing and Exploited Children Act, and H.R. 1809, the Juvenile Justice Reform Act of 2017.
